Carlos Carrasco: Brilliant Again.
Carrasco in his last ten games: 58.2 IP, 54:12 K:BB, 1.44 GO/AO, 2.76 ERA. Pretty encouraging.

Another tidbit I found interesting… Omar Aguilar has given up just two XBH this season in 59IP.
Aguilar, acquired from the Brewers for Chuck Lofgren, has been at Akron all season. He’s a non-prospect, 25-years-old in his third taste of AA, but for relievers, age and level are less important in the overall scheme of whether the reliever can provide two or three years of relief at the major league level. On to the interesting part:
In 59IP this season, he’s allowed no homeruns and two doubles. The strikeouts, as always, are there. Unfortunately, so are the walks. Still, to go 59IP and give up just two XBH is pretty impressive. I want to see if his stuff plays in Huntington Park.
