Justin Masteron will take Mitch Talbot's turn in the rotation this Saturday, in what probably will be Masterson's final appearance of the season. The Indians had set Masterson a limit of 180 innings for the season, and already he has 173, following Monday's seven-inning appearance in relief of Talbot. A successful start on Saturday will leave Masterson very close to his limit for the season. The Indians originally had said that they preferred for Masterson to spread those last 14 innings out over the remaining three weeks of the season, rather than making two more starts and then sitting out the final two weeks, but obviously that won't happen now. Talbot is expected to miss only this one start, returning to the rotation late next week.
