Anyone know what caused this surgery? The link doesn’t explain. I don’t really think this is such a big deal of course, unless Masterson was planning on taking up left handed pitching in an attempt to get lefties out.

It had to be at least uncomfortable when he was pitching out of the windup.

Maybe he only sleeps on his left side. All kidding aside, I know I would if I had a right arm worth millions.
