The poll at the right asked, on August 9, whether you thought David Huff's ERA would be better or worse than 4.50 in his remaining starts. From that point, Huff made 8 more appearances—7 starts and being the last pitcher on the mound in a 14 inning loss to the White Sox, with no runs earned).
He averaged under 5 IP/S (33 IP), with a 6.00 ERA (8.72 RA), 21 K's and 13 BB's. The 48 of you who voted "Above" can pat yourselves on the back.

So the first time I read this FanShot it had one comment, but it was marked unread. How many other new comments am I missing? Boo.
Also, boo to David Huff.
Matt LaPorta is the bane of my existence.
I was one of those 48. I just don’t see Huff ever developing into more than a #5.
But I want to be wrong.
