Corey Burns, who will probably be pitching in Columbus next season, talks about his unconventional delivery as well closing in the minors. He's not likely to be closing in Cleveland, but looks like an interesting guy to face right-handers in the majors.

Though nobody claims he’s a got a hummer, Burns is usually advertised at 88-92 on the fastball; the clock generally sees 86-89. One report said his FB had whiffle-ball movement—can you use a whiffle ball in MLB? Anyway, Columbus should be a good test of his talents.
I’ll be starting my prospect series next month, but based strictly on performance, we have tremendous bullpen depth in the system. Burns is just part of the story. And I can imagine his deception leading to a few good years at the big league level. I also get the sense, and I’d be open to other thoughts on this, that the past few years the Indians have been good at squeezing out a few extra mph in their bullpen arms between the AA and big league level. Herrmann and Pestano are the two that immediately come to my mind.
Can he be a Matt Miller type up in the majors? I’d take that.
