Alex White is about to make his season debut for Columbus. Kinston is down 2-0 in the 2nd. Lake County is up 1-0 in the 4th. Akron lost 2-6. Enjoy until the real game starts.

I’ve probably asked before, but do you know anything about Cory Burns? I searched the other day and couldn’t even find a Lastoria scouting report blurb. I figured there would be a bit more information about him after his year last year between Lake County and Kinston (13.3 K/9, 2.3 BB/9, 0.3 HR/9, 1.03 WHIP). He seems to be closing in Akron now.

I’ve seen a couple highlights…very average stuff, which is why he usually isn’t mentioned in prospect reports. But he has a real funky delivery…will be interesting to see how far that takes him.

White gets a called third strike on a breaking ball. Other two outs were FB and GB to short. Gave up a double on a groundball that Chisenhall misplayed (was going foul, I guess).

Just noticed you replied to my comment about Ehlo on LL, Andrew. I guess I just thought Craig Ehlo’s legacy was being distraught while Jordan pumped his fist. I’m ignorant because I have no knowledge of the college game in those years, but did he do something to Duke?

I was kidding. I find Craig Ehlo completely nondescript. I’ve mentioned this a few time, but I watch (and understand) more pro basketball than I do baseball. It’s hard for me to imagine how anyone would hate Craig Ehlo.

Mariners have put 7 lefties in lineup vs. Justin. Most of them haven’t hit much at all in the majors, let alone this season. This will be interesting.
