Justin Germano Throws Perfect Game
Germano struck out seven and threw just 95 pitches. It was the first perfect game thrown in the International League since 2003.

COLUMBUS– The scouts came for the Phelps and stayed for the history. Justin Germano threw a perfect game Tuesday in front of 34,787 that included employees of twenty major league teams. The Mets’ Ted S. Richmond was most impressed, saying that Germano showed why he can be a cog in a major league rotation for years to come. “I hope we’re the ones fortunate enough to acquire his services,” Richmond said.
It remains to be seen if his word will be regarded as gospel by the general manager, but there are dozens more teams that could be looking to get in on the action. Ed Wade tweeted “this hermano [sic] fellow in aaa looks like a keeper— might have to part with pence for him, or maybe wandy”.

Rec on the assumption that it’s a total fabrication.

I couldn’t be less excited. Flukes happen. Eventually you’ll roll snake eyes 20 times in a row, unlikely as it seems.
But hey, sure, nice story. Good for him.
Wow. This is 100% true, but jesus…..remind me to keep my potential children away from you if Santa Claus is around. (“And neither is the Easter Bunny!”)
"Mixed emotions. Rather see him hit PEDroia [with that pitch]. I don’t care if he is in the dugout"

Why we weren’t all pissed at our parents for blatantly lying to our faces about Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny once we learned they weren’t real, is beyond me.
Matt LaPorta is the bane of my existence.
