Comments on 95% of the articles at 99% of news sites are that way. I definitely try not to scroll down after reading an article somewhere.
Doesn’t count on message boards or a place like this because this is a site designed for the sole purpose of fans discussing things, not really putting out news ourselves. Just collecting and sharing it. Comment sections on news or “news” sites, however, are nothing but a hotbed for vile, hateful, mostly ignorant replies.
