Josh Judy called up
Judy previously had pitched four innings in six days in the majors, spread out over three call-ups earlier this year. We have used only 11 relievers all season, all but one of whom (Germano) are now on the roster. The active roster now stands at just 27 players out of a possible 40.

A couple ex-teammates of mine played with Judy in a league one year and they have some funny stories about him. I talk to him here and there and am defiantly rooting for him to have a nice career with the Tribe. It’s funny to me how many Delaware connections the Tribe has had recently. Along with Judy, I actually played against Rob Bryson in HS, late round pick LHP Mike McGuire was our #1 starter at U of D for a few seasons, and Tony Graffanino used to come to UD in the off season and train/work out. He actually bought the team a new batting cage in 2009. I think there are more connections too but those are the first four off the top of my head.
Christopher Colombus got more tail in 1492 than you get in a lifetime.
We just can’t catch a break, can we?

We have actually used three starters each in a single, one-inning relief appearance — Masterson, Huff and Gomez — but I wasn’t counting those.
