Game 139: Tigers 10, Indians 1
The Indians were put out of their misery from the beginning. Fausto Carmon made the mistake of walking Delmon Young with two outs to bring up Miguel Cabrera, and things deterioirated from there. He would give up six straight singles, and five runs. He came out for the second, but with similar results, and after allowing another run, he was mercifully pulled.
Unlike in Detroit, the Indians couldn't mount a comeback against Rick Porcello. The only run they'd get off him came on a Kosukue Fukudome home run that was way too late to make any difference.
So welcome to 2012, folks.

A perfectionist, only without all the results.

That graph looks like it represents the total number of Tribe’s healthy and productive players this season.
Time to start just enjoying the games as our last bit of baseball till Spring. Admittedly, that is harder in the context of 10-1 defeats. I’m not going to worry about the injury carnage till after the season.
We pretty much needed to sweep this series, anyway, so last night’s loss was just whatever the opposite of icing on the cake is. Time to rest everyone and get them healthy for 2012 (or 2013, in Carrasco’s case)..
