PrintWell, he couldn't if we played for the Indians. Our "Pitch Value" (wCB/c) on curveballs in 2011 was -0.43 and only better than the Astros at -0.86. I wonder if it is because we are a young team, or if it can be attributed, in part at least to our coaching? LaPorta's struggles are well documented and we managed to send Phelps' stock into free fall after his call up. Kipnis and Chisenhall on the other hand seemed to make a few adjustments as the season went on. Fingers crossed for 2012!
