BA's Top 10 Cleveland Prospect List
The overview of the list is free without subscription. Not surprisingly the list is heavy on youth and pitchers.

I find it fun, when these things come out, to go back and look at year’s past. For your reference, here is the same top 10 overview page from each year going back to 2007:
For example, if you are interested in sleeper prospects, Matt Packer is a guy who continues to (partially) fly under the radar. He has never made BA’s top 10 list, but last year was identified as the pitcher with the best control in the system, and this year identified as having the best changeup in the system.
Sounds like the next Tomlin. Looking at their minor league careers, their numbers are strikingly similar. I was surprised Packer is such a FB pitcher – I was under the assumption that he was a sinker guy.
The top prospects of the decades lists are always upsetting.
I had to sit down when I read Matt LaPorta is our projected 2015 first basemen. Talk about depressing.
Christopher Colombus got more tail in 1492 than you get in a lifetime.

Much more balanced list in terms of potential vs ready to contribute than I’ve seen elsewhere. And no Wash! Wonder if that’s tweetworthy…
I don’t have a subscription – if anyone does and reads the full scouting reports and chat session, please post any nuggets you care to.
If Luigi Rodriguez makes it to the majors, he’d be the first MLB player with that first name. And in case you’re wondering, there have been nine Marios to play in the majors.
No Princesses, either. Though there have been a few variants of Peach as a last name or first name, my favorite being Peaches Davis.
Well we can’t stop here. I see one Toad, one Bowser (with just 2 PAs), and a few Yoshis depending on how you parse them.
