I think Droobs owes him some of the $$ he’s going to get. That was definitely OCab’s major contrib last year – convincing our shortstop that he could turn on some pitches outside of BP.
I’m not sure Asdrubal’s approach is an improvement over 2009, when his OBP was 30 points higher, and he still racked up XBH at a high rate, just all doubles.
