Beat me to it by a few minutes. No word on details yet, but I am assuming NRI. He has had an up and down career out of the bullpen, with his best season coming in 2007.

His pitch f/x numbers are not encouraging. He was good in 2007 when his fastball was sitting at 94. Since then he has lost velocity every year, attempting to make up for it by relying more on his cutter…with poor results.

I don’t think Lewis is much of a defender, but he’s good insurance to have from the offensive side of the ledger. He does hit left-handed, and so he wouldn’t be good for 25-man roster flexibility.

I just think of the tools this trio brings to the table, Petit’s plus middle-infield defense is probably the best at this point. I don’t think Accardo has anything left (though presumably someone in the organization scouted him and feels otherwise), and Lewis’ league average offensive abilities have been in decline for awhile.
