On Sunday, Zach McAllister had his third superb start of September. Against the Rangers, White Sox and Royals: 18.2 IP, 17 H, 7 R, 6 ER, 15:4 K/BB. Let's see what else is happening...

Despite hype to the contrary, Lonnie Chisenhall will not be playing winter ball.

I speculated that this could be due to the managerial change, but Bastian doesn't think so:

Ken Rosenthal says that the Indians plans to listen on Justin Masterson, Choo and Chris Perez wouldn't be altered by a Terry Francona hire. He mentions that Francona would probably get a long-term deal, and the desire to let him build a winning culture requires more young talent than we have.

Mike Trout hit his 30th home run Sunday, in the 7th inning off of Yu Darvish. That made him the first rookie to ever have 30 homers and 40 steals. With two more steals, he'd be MLB's third 30/50 man (Davis, Bonds).

The Indians' past two Sundays:

9/30: W, 15–3 over KC (19 hits)
9/23: W, 15–4 over KC (16 hits)

The Tribe will face Hector Santiago again on Monday. Things didn't go so well for Hector against the Indians on Wednesday.
