A Swing and a Drive #10: Asdrubal Cabrera breaks a tie

This is the first of a series looking at the Indians' 10 longest home runs of the 2012 season, as measured by HitTrackerOnline.com.

Asdrubal Cabrera hit the 10th longest home run of the season on June 23 against the Astros at Minute Maid Park.

It was the second major league start for Houston rookie Dallas Keuchel, and his parents were attending the game. He made the most of the opportunity, with one hiccup to Cabrera being the only miscue.

Going into the fourth inning, the game was scoreless as Jeanmar Gomez was pitching well early. Asdrubal led off with this blast to left-center.

Asdrubal's blast went an estimated 424 feet and is the longest of his career. It was the 12th-longest allowed by the Astros at Minute Maid Park in 2012.

Unfortunately the rest of the game did not go well for the Indians; the Astros put up a four-spot in the fifth and won 8-1.

Matt LaPorta just missed being in the the top 10, as his one home run from 2012, off the Rangers' Derek Holland, fell a foot short at 423.
