Pure Ragin' Oblique
I think the oblique, whatever the hell that is, is my least favorite Indians related muscle.

Via HBT:
Tribe trainer Lonnie Soloff told reporters Sunday in camp that Perez’s "body wasn’t ready for the intensity" of the throwing session, hinting at a possible offseason conditioning issue.
I suppose we always knew he was the Marlon Brando of our Bullpen Mafia.
Sounds like he left the gun and took the cannoli’s.

Just want to mention that spring training injuries aren’t all that uncommon. Particularly of this sort. I’m happy it isn’t a long term injury that would impact the majority of the season.
Isn’t this fun?
So glad that spring training started.

My first unbelievably optimistic thought was Perez:Pestano is as Pipp:Gehrig.

Right, I didn’t mean to say Vinnie’s ceiling was quite that high.

Finally, Vinnie gets a shot at some lower-leverage situations!!

We’ve already got enough injury-prone players. If others start missing time, it could get ugly fast.
Though I look right at home, I still feel like an exile

Still won 80 last year with as bad of an injury plagued season as can be imagined.

He probably wanted me to go 75 or 50 percent, but that’s not who I am. I get work in throwing 100 percent. I’m not going to go throw a bullpen at 50 percent and pretty much just waste a day.
You Rage, are an idiot.

Sheesh, good thing he didn’t pretty much waste a day.

I think idiot is harsh. The man does what he does. I’m sure he’s as upset as anybody that he’s hurt.

I’ve gotta go against you on this one. There’s a reason you don’t go from nothing right to 100%. He was begging to tweak something, and he did.
That isn’t even the dumbest part. It’s the rationale that taking that approach wouldn’t waste a day. A touch more than a day wasted now. Tree saved.
