Three Positives to take from Astros 7, Indians 1

Unfortunately, today's game felt a LOT like yesterday's, and between falling out of first (again), scoring 4 runs in 3 games against one of the worst pitching teams in baseball, and the White Sox getting a .225 hitter (let me put it this way... given the choice right now, I think I might take Lillibridge over Youkilis, and maybe the Red Sox feel the same way). But one series or even one month does not a season make (just ask the Marlins right now). This team has played well below most of their abilities, in my opinion, and just needs to find some consistency. So, 3 positives?

1. Derek Lowe pitched A LOT better than he has, posting a quality start (3 runs in 8 innings). He's been getting blown out early lately, and I found this start very encouraging.

2. Casey Kotchman and Shelley Duncan, two of those guys that need to find consistency, each got on base twice in 4 plate appearances, Kotchman with two singles and Duncan with two walks.

3. So yeah, Casey Kotchman and Carlos Santana now have the exact same batting average, but Santana's did go up today, He got a pinch hit and was unfortunately stranded on base. He's shown vague signs of coming around lately, even if he does still have that bizarre swing.

Now, the Yankees, who unlike the Astros we've seen before. Tomorrow's on national TV, a chance for Kipnis and Asdrubal to get some last minute All-Star votes perhaps?
