For now, Asdrubal Cabrera will remain near the top of the order. As for giving him a day off, that's going to be difficult because there really isn't a backup shortstop on the club right now. Jack Hannahan is currently the backup, and can probably do all right given his range at third, but he hasn't started a game at shortstop in the majors. And then there's the fact that Hannahan actually looks worse than Cabrera at the plate right now.
