Larry Doby's pioneering role with Tribe, American League recognized: Indians Insider | cleveland.com

After last night's game, Eagle Avenue was officially re-named Larry Doby Way, and before the game Doby's son Larry Doby, Jr and former teammate Jim "Mudcat" Grant threw out the first pitches.The Indians have in recent made a concerted effort to showcase the history of this franchise, whether it be bringing back the Indians Hall of Fame, building Heritage Park beyond the center field fence, or participating with the city of Cleveland in recognizing one of baseball's true heroes.
