Ah yes, late in the year when your team's not in it, a great time to relax and just enjoy baseball for what it is... which is baseball. In a way, it's almost easier to take good things from a loss when you know you're done for the year regardless of the final score. After the jump, we shall attempt to do just that!
1. Hey, six runs! For two games in a row! Sure, you could look at it as too little, too late, or you could look at it as Michael Brantley and Casey Kotchman showing off their awesome power.
2. Don't look now, but Ezequiel Carrera is hitting .394. I know it's conventional wisdom he's not a real major league player, but I like him. So there.
3. Jason Kipnis has returned. He is fun to watch even at those times when he's not playing his best.
Today, we begin the Post-Fausto era! Who is this Roberto Hernandez guy? Where did he come from? ALL WILL BE REVEALED.
