Brooks Baseball PitchFX - Justin Masterson
Not much of redeeming value here. We're into another stretch of bad outings by starters, with Masterson's start completing another complete rotation cycle of poor pitching. Justin allowed seven runs on 9 hits and a walk, with the big blow a Coco Crisp three-run homer in the 5th inning. Up to that point, the Indians still had a chance to win, though as it turned out, they really didn't.
The Indians had some chances early off Jarrod Parker, but didn't capitalize, and never did push a run across. The bottom three hitters in the order (Lillibridge, Hannahan, Marson) went 0-for-9 with a walk. But again, that's a smaller problem than the rotation right now.
