Cord Phelps provided the only notable offense with a solo HR (#12), but also had a key defensive miscue. David Huff allowed only one run in 5.1 innings, but in largely unimpressive fashion (8 hits, 1K). Tyler Sturdevant recovered from a rough outing to put up his fourth scoreless appearance in his last five outings.

Jordan Cooper (5.2IP, 4R) and Kyle Blair (3.1IP, 6R) got knocked around by Lynchburg's hitters. Bo Greenwell had two hits for the Mudcats, while Carlos Moncrief (#21) and Anthony Gallas (#28) added doubles.
Francisco Valera and Manuel Carmona gave up three runs in the final two innings, as the Captains were unable to hold onto a two run lead. Leo Castillo hit his first HR since May (#3) and for the second straight night (and fourth in the past week) Jake Lowery added a HR (#6).
Robel Garcia had was 2-3 with a double, but Robbie Aviles and Josh Martin each got tagged for multiple runs.
The winds must have been blowing out in Arizona, as the Goodyear Tribe hit four HRs (Claudio Batista #3, Ryan Battaglia #3, Nelson Rodriguez #4 and Jorge Martinez #5) and three doubles as part of an 18-hit onslaught. The Indians' pitching was not spared, as it also allowed four HRs in the game.
