Three Positives to Take from the Current Losing Streak

Hey everyone! Over the past few weeks I've been moving and, oh yeah, getting married, so I'm sorry for the lack of posts. But now I'm back! And the good thing is, I haven't had time to watch the Tribe over the past few weeks. I have to say, when I said the team would "go positive-less" in my absence, I had no idea how very and unfortunately literally true that would turn out to be. What possible positives could we glean from the current disaster?

1. Drastic action has been forced, which was probably needed anyway. Several pieces of dead weight have been jettisoned. Indeed, the present malaise has most likely prevented the Tribe from trading away what young talent we have for some third-tier pitcher who wouldn't have put us over the top anyway.

2. I'm not sure I'm ready for the Indians to win the World Series. Too much of my identity as a baseball fan is tied up in the fact that my teams will always blow it. So that's a relief.

3. It will end. Eventually.
