- Tuesday, Brett Myers became the latest Major League Baseball free agent to sign with the Indians(!). Per Jon Heyman, the deal is for "1 year plus club option" and Hoynes reports Myers will be a starter.
- Jon Morosi says "Indians have had dialogue with free agent starter Shaun Marcum, source says. But now they have signed Brett Myers" but does not say if the Myers signing takes us out of the running for Marcum.
- The Rays avoided arbitration with 2012 Cy Young winner David Price with a 1-year deal for $10M+.
