A Swing and a Drive #4: Jason Kipnis goes deep to center field

This is the seventh of a series looking at the Indians' 10 longest home runs of the 2012 season, as measured by ESPN's Hit Tracker.

Jason Kipnis hit the fourth longest home run of the year on April 15 at Kauffman Stadium.

The Indians really pounded Kansas City pitching during their April 13-15 three-game series. During the 8th inning of the third game, with the Tribe leading 10-5, Casey Kotchman hit a 412-foot two-run shot that made it 12-5. Kipnis then went back-to-back on the very next pitch with this drive to center:

Kipnis's homer traveled 434 feet.

The Royals were able to tack on two runs in the bottom of the ninth to make the final score a 13-7 Indians victory.
