Let's Talk Tribe - Episode 16: Indians hot stove chatter

Jason Miller

Jason and Ryan discuss the offseason so far

Ryan and I discuss the Indians' offseason to this point, starting with the starting rotation. The Tribe needs another starting pitcher, who are some of the better (realistic) candidates. Scott Kazmir could return, we could see if Mickey Callaway can turn Phil Hughes around... There are options.

Talk then turns to the lineup. How does newly acquired outfielder David Murphy fit in and who might be shipped out to make the pieces fit together right? I insisted on talking about Carlos Santana, because he continues to be wildly underrated by many Tribe fans and it drives me bonkers. Why people, WHY?!

The conversation wraps up with a look at new additions to the 40-man roster, as Cleveland protects some interesting prospects, and some speculation on when Spaceship Lindor might land in Cleveland.
