Uniform #16 was worn by Jason Donald last year. Donald wore it for three seasons. The numbers will not increase for this uniform this year as first base coach and former Tribe minor league manager Mike Sarbaugh has assumed it for 2013. Larry Brown is the career leader with 9 seasons.

Uniform #17 was worn by Shin-Soo Choo. After wearing it from 2007 to 2012, Choo is also the career leader with 6 seasons. The numbers will not increase for this uniform this year as manager Terry Francona has assumed it for 2013.

Uniform #18 was retired in honor of Mel Harder in 1990. It was last worn as a player by Chris James in 1990.

Uniform #19 was retired in honor of Hall of Famer "Rapid Robert" Bob Feller in 1957. It was never worn again after he retired following the 1956 season. Only five other players ever wore it prior to Feller assuming it in 1939.

Uniform #20 is currently assigned to NRIs Daisuke Matsuzaka and Luis Hernandez. It was last worn by a player in 2011 by Orlando Cabrera. Matsuzaka has the inside track to be the forty-ninth player to wear it in 2013. If he doesn't make it, this also has a strong possibility to be reassigned. The career leader for this number is Al Milnar with 6 seasons.

Uniform #21 was retired in honor of Hall of Famer Bob Lemon in 1998. It was last worn as a player by Greg Swindell in 1998.

Uniform #22 will continue to be worn by Jason Kipnis in 2013. He is the fifty-first player to wear it. This will be his third season wearing it and ties him with Al Luplow, Brian Giles, Candy Maldanado and Jim Bibby. He would need two more years to catch leaders Mike Fischlin and Roy Weatherly.

Uniform #23 will be Michael Brantley's fifth season wearing it. This will tie him with Vic Wertz. He needs three more seasons to catch career leader Chris Bando.

Uniform #24 will be worn by Michael Bourn in 2013. Grady Sizemore had worn it from 2005 to 2011. Sizemore's eight seasons tie him with Jeff Heath and Manny Ramirez, one short of leader Early Wynn. Bourn will be the thirty-sixth guy to wear it.

Uniform #25 is currently assigned to NRIs Jason Giambi and Matt Carson. It was worn last year by Vinny Rotino. Giambi has the inside track to be the twenty-ninth player to wear it in 2013. Jim Thome leads this number with 12 seasons and Mike Garcia is right behind him with 11 seasons.

Uniform #26 is currently assigned to NRI Scott Kazmir. It was worn last year by Derek Lowe. Kazmir has a great chance to be the forty-third player to wear it. Brook Jacoby is the career leader with 9 seasons.

Uniform #27 will be worn by Bryan Shaw in 2013. It was last worn by a player in 2011 by Lonnie Chisenhall prior to his shift to #8. Jaret Wright and Steve Gromek share the career lead with 6 seasons.

Uniform #28 will be worn by Corey Kluber again in 2013. This will be his second year wearing that jersey. The career leader for this number is Rick Manning with 7 seasons.

Uniform #29 was worn by Juan Diaz last year. The numbers will not increase for this uniform this year as hitting coach Ty Van Burkleo has assumed it for 2013. Andre Thornton is the career leader with 10 seasons.

Uniform #30 will continue to be worn by Ubaldo Jiminez in 2013. This will be his third season wearing it and ties him with six others in second place. He would need three more years to catch leader Joe Carter.
