You know the streak was going to end sometime, though it was a bit surprising that it ended this way.
- The Twins took a flier on Mike Pelfrey even though he wouldn't be a year removed from Tommy John surgery until May. Based on today, it looks like he was a great pickup. The former New York Met was throwing fastballs past the Indians hitters, and his command, which is usually the last thing to return after Tommy John surgery, was good enough.
- Speaking of command, Corey Kluber didn't really have it today, though he kept the Indians in the game. He walked four batters, one of which came around to score. The big blow was when he hung a breaking ball in the middle of the plate to Trevor Plouffe in the second inning.
- Scott Barnes got two innings of work today, and he looked good, striking out four and not allowing any hits. He's probably up here until Michael Bourn is ready to come off the DL, but things can chance between now and then.
