MLB 2013 All-Star Game: Jason Kipnis and Justin Masterson named to AL squad

USA TODAY Sports

The Indians will send two players to this summer's All-Star Game.

There will be two players representing the Cleveland Indians in New York for the 2013 All-Star Game.

Jason Kipnis will be one of four second basemen to represent the American League. It's been a good season for AL second basemen, and that's reflected in this year's All-Star Game roster: Robinson Cano, Dustin Pedroia, and Ben Zobrist all are on the squad, with only one reserve shortstop (Jhonny Peralta) and only one reserve third baseman (Manny Machado) making the team. Read more about Jason's fantastic first half here and here.

Justin Masterson was also named to the All-Star team, and like Kipnis, he'll be making his first appearance at the Midsummer Classic. Masterson leads the AL in innings pitched (128.7) as well as complete games and shutouts (3).

Here's the complete rosters.

Congrats to both players!
