Ninth-inning comeback preserves a Josh Tomlin gem - Let's Go Tribe
The late runs were the exciting bits, but Josh Tomlin's strong outing made it possible. Baseball is a series of ebbs and flows, not a continual line of progression or regression, and yesterday Tomlin was able to command everything in his arsenal, allowing three base runners in his 7.1 innings of work. The offense he faced is by far the worst in the American League, but let's worry about that when he has to face someone more competent.
