Isn't it incredible how light-hearted this site has been the past week? Our blog chemistry is totally off the charts.  

Shit.  Wedge just ruined the mood.  DL for Westbrook, probably.

I just got home. After reading the game thread, I can safely say I have no idea what happened.

We're so gritty, we're batting 1.000!  :-)

Regarding Westbrook, it's helpful to remember that the DL isn't a direct indicator of injury status, but rather it's a roster tool.

So when Wedge says, "it's probably DL," what he's really saying is that he's going to miss at least one start, and the team is better off getting another starter on the roster, even if that means Westbrook is locked into missing at least three starts.

My point being:  If you thought Westbrook probably could start again in eight days, you'd still DL him.  And if Westbrook has an injury that isn't really serious in terms of long-term impact, but may take anywhere from 8 to 30 days to heal and get ready to start again, you'd still DL him.

Oh man, Midnight Buffet was awesome, I was so pumped about the indians game that all my friends thought I was drunk and I hadn't had a sip!  I was super hyper (still am) and 6 krispy kreme donuts did not help.
I thought I was full after the buffet, but there was still plenty of room for a slice of grit pie when I got back and read the rest of the thread.
