Anyone else that is procrastinating or actually interested in the MLB Draft?  The mock drafts have the Indians selecting a power hitting position player.  Some names I've seen come up: Zach Collier (OF- High School), Connor Gillaspie (3B- College), David Cooper (1B- College), Brett Lawrie (2B, 3B).  We seem to favor college players, but I think its hard to really follow any trends for the baseball draft.  Trevor Crowe, David Huff, and Beau Mills were our last three 1st round picks, lets see who joins them today.

This is not really Browns related, but I just wanted to throw it out there that Chris Mortensen is an idiot.  I've had it out for him since he screwed up the Savage is fired story a year or two ago.  I really think he makes assumptions, attributes them to "unnamed sources" and goes forward with the story.

Now, he is saying that Eli Manning has a separated shoulder and will be out at least a month.  This is despite the fact that the Giants and every other media outlet are saying that it is a sprain or a bruise and he might play this week, and he is day to day.  

I urge football fans to be very skeptical anytime they see "ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports...".  It is possible he is full of SH*T

I think the PD's story said that he would likely miss two weeks.  That version also said that Lennie Friedman got most of the snaps with the first team at Left Guard.  

Now we are really testing that depth on the O-Line.  Any significant time that Steinbach would miss would be devistating.  Even a week or two during preseason sucks because it takes time for a line to gel and work as a unit and Steinbach and Thomas have not got too much work together.
