Chad Durbin is blogging from the clubhouse before World Series game 2!

Chad Durbin just filed a quick blog from the clubhouse recapping game 1 and previewing game 2.

LOVE that he said that he was "close to vomiting" while warming up last night!

He also filed a post yesterday sharing his excitement for the World Series and challenges fans to tell him what they think about the Series. Fun quick read and I look forward to seeing the comments it generates:

Ryan Rowland-Smith blogs about his team recipe for 2009

RRS just posted a fantastic new blog where he gives some very frank criticism of what went wrong this year and details what he thinks are some keys for the team in 2009 (including bringing back Ibanez & develop more clubhouse leadership):

http://www.prolebrity.com/recipe-mariners-2009/

RRS has been one of the few the highlights for the team in this second half...too bad they cannot score any runs for him (he has only 2 wins in 11 starts, despite leaving the game wth the M's leading or tied 9 times and giving up 3 runs or less 8 times)!

Former Teammate Marcellus Wiley on the Richard Collier shooting

Marcellus Wiley (who played with both Kenny Pettway and Richard Collier on the Jacksonville Jaguars) talked to Pettway and gives some FANTASTIC and insightful commentary on his Prolebrity.com blog about the Collier shooting:

http://www.prolebrity.com/shooting-in-j-vill/

Only a friend could land this type of info from a guy involved in the incident: "After talking to KP, who in his own words said, 'We didn't do anything, we weren't trying to do anything, just sitting in the car…they ran up on us and just start shooting...they didn't try to rob us or anything.'"

Wiley goes on to "shed some light on how it goes down there" in Jacksonville and explains how trouble sometimes just finds you...especially when you are a high profile athlete.

FASCINATING READ!!!

Chad Durbin's latest blog...

Phillies reliever Chad Durbin just posted a new blog entry where he writes about the rough west coast trip so far (both for the team and for him personally) and how he and the team are going to bounce back from running into the Manny freight train. It’s an interesting read and you gotta give the guy credit for putting himself out there after 2 rough outings:

Time to go pound on San Diego!

Former Packer Derrick Mayes blogs about Favre

Retired Packers Wide Receiver Derrick Mayes just posted an entry on his own blog with his thoughts about what he calls the Brett Favre “chaos”:

http://www.prolebrity.com/good-luck-4/

It's really interesting to read thoughts from a former teammate and friend!

Love that he says he's got three permanently crooked fingers as a result of Favre's passes...that is just too funny (especially since it is probably entirely true)!
