Veterans Adam Rosales, Trayce Thompson and Brandon Barnes all had multi-hit games. Rosales went 3-4 with a double and a hit by pitch, Barnes went 2-5 with a double and Thompson went 2-4 with a pair of runs batted in.
Starting pitcher Zach Plesac continues to show no signs of intimidation at the Triple-A level. Plesac pitched 7.0 innings, allowing two runs on four hits while striking out six and walking none.
Jon Edwards and Brooks Pounders contributed a scoreless inning apiece.

Ka’ai Tom and Tyler Krieger both stepped up on Thursday, going 3-4 at the plate with two doubles each. Li-Jen Chu and Alexis Pantoja both went 2-4 with Pantoja hitting a double as well.
That was more than enough offense for Aaron Civale, who had a strong start, allowing two runs on five hits in 6.2 innings while striking out seven and walking two.
David Speer slammed the door with 2.1 shutout innings and three strikeouts to earn the save.

Don’t look now but Nolan Jones is finding his power stroke. Jones didn’t hit his first home run of the season until Monday, but it only took him three more days to hit his second of the year yesterday, a two run blast in the first inning.
Oscar Gonzalez joined the party with his fifth home run of the season in the sixth inning.
Lynchburg only had five hits on the day, but they took advantage of a pair of Carolina errors to score two unearned runs.
Veteran Matt Solter had a strong outing, tossing 5.2 shutout innings on five hits while striking out five and walking two.
Robert Broom and Anthony Gose kept the shutout alive with 2.1 combined scoreless innings before Jared Robinson rant into trouble in the ninth, giving up two runs on four hits in the final frame.

Lake County continued its recent stretch of strong play with top 2017 pick Quentin Holmes playing hero on Thursday.
Holmes went 3-5 with a home run and two runs batted in. He has struggled this season but the speedster has shown signs of life at the plate recently.
Mitch Reeves went 2-4 with a walk and a pair of runs scored while Connor Smith went 2-5 and Tyler Freeman added a triple. Will Benson walked twice while Jesse Berardi walked three times.
Starting pitcher Shane McCarthy looked sharp, but left after two innings and was placed on the injured list today with right lat tightness.
Reliever Kellen Rholl stepped up with four scoreless innings out of the bullpen and Aaron Pinto added three more scoreless frames to complete the surprising shutout.
